Earthlab The Earthlab Community Station is a partnership between UCSD and the nonprofit organization Groundwork San Diego. This effort provides hand-on science experience to 3rd-12th grade students from Southeastern San Diego. Education Collaboration with the Yuba Water Agency CW3E is proud to work alongside the Yuba Water Agency (YWA) to provide educational opportunities for children and teachers. Among these efforts is the YWA’s Teacher Training Institute, which provides a science curriculum focused on the Yuma River Watershed for use in local classrooms. CW3E Summer Internship Program The CW3E summer internship program provides research opportunities for undergraduate students on topics focused on U.S. West Coast weather phenomena. Interns will complete a research project with guidance from a mentor, and will gain experience in data analysis, visualization, and research presentation. Salary, housing, and transportation are provided by CW3E. More information can be found on our Internship page. |

CW3E Peer Support program We have developed a Peer Support program to help new employees in their transition to new roles at the Center. Newly-hired employees are paired with a more senior colleague to receive guidance on a range of topics – research, career development, resources available as a Scripps employee, life in San Diego, overall well-being. |
