BVS is our lowest elevation site in the Yuba watershed. It is located on the Browns Valley Elementary School property in an open, grassy area near the back of the property to the south of the cul de sac. The soil is disturbed soil with grass planted. The school turned off the closest sprinkler heads, however soil sensors might experience lateral flow from further sprinklers.
