Headworks (HDW) is the first accessible RadMet station, one of four CW3E meteorological stations in the Green River watershed, Washington (as of 2023). The other Green River watershed stations are the RadMet station at Y-Line (YLI) and two the tower SMOILs at Maywood (MYD) and Stampede (STP). HDW station was installed in a lawn in front of the Tacoma Water Headworks office building and its parking lot. Site is located directly northwest of the NOAA COOP site ( PALW1 ) - in the right hand corner of the site picture.
