Site Description

SLU Smoil has 1 tripod, 1 standalone tipping bucket [distance/direction from tripod?] and 2 soil pits [distance from each other and distance/direction from tripod?]. The station sits on a flat(ish) area atop a densely grassy hill near Penon Peak in the Santa Lucia Conservancy. There are 2 other weather stations on nearby hills just higher up.
