Summary

Troubleshooting pyranometer

Details

CS320 has been reporting low values. We replaced the CS320 on July 27 (SN 1662). This did not resolve the issues of low values.

Comments

Measured ~13V from sensor end of cable to solar battery indicating the sensor should be getting adequate power.

Called Campbell tech support. They mentioned that CS320s with SN’s around 3200 or lower could be subject to gas leak in the detectors and recommended RMAing the sensors.

We unplugged the sensor and cable to SDI12 bulkhead on enclosure. Put dust cap on the SDI12 bulkhead.

Confirmed that other values were not irregular after unplugging the CS320.
