White Creek flows through the Magruder Ranch. The stream gage is located on the south bank of the creek, against a rock outcropping along with the staff plate. The staff plate and stilling well are surrounded by dense poison oak. Use caution when working on the stilling well or staff plate. A trail cam is strapped to the oak tree on the bank opposite the stream gage.
