Sally (YVSC) visited CPR to investigate why we were not receiving data from the station. She confirmed that the datalogger was receiving power and that the program was running. She also confirmed that the modem was powered up on schedule (she was on-site during the troubleshooting window) and that the signal strength LED on the modem was green, indicating a strong connection.
Sally noted that there was a thick layer of ice rime on many surfaces of the station including the cell modem. This might explain why the station is unable to connect to PotterValley-srv if the ice is blocking the connection?
