New fuel temperature dowel installed: 2025-05-31
Fuel temperature sensors were damaged by an animal (bear?) in June 2023. Both sensors were knocked off the mounting bracket onto the ground and the temperature dowel was removed from the probe and lost. No cables were damaged. The damage was discovered 2024-06-18 and the sensors were remounted. The original temperature probe dowel was found and reinstalled on 2024-07-25 by Nathan Stewart. This CS 506 installed 31 May 2025 by J. Deane to replace faulty original (original SO# 394990; new SO# 398672). Original sensor since re-deployed at TCS with no issues. Suspect issues at ELK were caused by poor electrical connection with dowel. |
