Brett (landowner) noticed that the top-most soil sensor had become partially exposed due to settling of the excavated soil from the pit (see photos). Around 1:30pm on 12 Feb 2025, Brett capped the pit face with topsoil from downhill of the station (w/in 1 m). Brett *gently* packed the soil to 5 cm depth above the exposed sensor, and matched the above- and below-pit grade to reestablish "normal" drainage/avoid ponding at the pit.
