Summary

Reconnected 10cm soil temperature to datalogger

Details

Replaced dessicant with 3 new bags, labeled with date.

Checked connections to the datalogger against the sent program. There are inconsistencies, but I didn’t change anything in the program because the station is transmitting well. Learned later from Douglas that Campbell Scientific anemometers have different wiring colors than what is labeled in the RM Young manual, i.e. the green wire is actually yellow. Good thing I didn't change anything.

Anyways, two red wires from 10 cm soil temperature sensor came loose from the datalogger immediately when tugged, as did some black ground wires. I thoroughly pulled on each connection and tightened many of them. I figured that was the source of the bad data.

Checked the resistivity of the 10 cm temperature sensor, numbers were as expected. Then I tugged on all of the wires again just to make doubly sure the connections were strong. Connected to the datalogger to confirm the sensors were reporting good values. Passed.
