Summary

Manual Discharge Measurement / Re-installed datalogger

Details

Sarah Burnett / Lisa Katz 9:15am PST

Walked in from the gate. Wading upstream was noticeably much easier than 2 days ago. Performed discharge measurement on top of little waterfall just upstream of stilling well.

Re-installed datalogger on t-stake using zip-ties in exact same spot as before. It turned on and showed full battery, but was unable to connect while we were on site. This site normally has problems connecting and often connects every other day. I had tested the datalogger in the hotel and confirmed it was working normally, so we left it before it connected successfully.

Trimmed the little tree right in front of the datalogger in hopes of it getting more sunlight. While it was trying to connect, I noticed that the “charging” indicator turned on, so it did appear to be getting some solar power.

Staff plate 1.19ft/s. Discharge 2.449cfs.
