Summary

Some soil data restored

Details

Chris, Bill Paulli's electrician, visited the site to fix the soil sensor situation. Turns out a cable wasn't nicked, a lawn mower cut through the conduit and all of the soil sensor cables. Unfortunately, he was visiting after the troubleshooting time, so I was unable to log on while the fixes were occuring. Chris added a new junction box that can be seen in the Google Drive photos, this should prevent a similar accident from reoccurring.

Chris didn't wire the cables exactly correctly.

C5

Data for Soil 1 and 3 were restored!

Soil 2 was previously reporting -7999. Now you can talk to Soil 2 in terminal emulator, but unfortunately it is wired into C7 so it goes unnoticed in the program.

Soil 6 is wired into C5, it is reachable in the terminal, but the program isn't searching for 6 in C5 so it goes unnoticed.

C7

Soil 4 was previously reporting data, but now is unresponsive in terminal emulator.

Soil 5 was previously reporting -7999, but now is unresponsive in terminal emulator.

Soil 6 was previously reporting -7999, it is reachable in terminal emulator, but goes unnoticed in the program.

I could make a solution for this, but it would involve editing the program and reuploading the new program remotely. We could possibly gain 2 soil records, but maybe less, and we would risk the rest of the data at the station if the upload didn't take correctly. So I'm not going to do it.
